Remarks on the hadronic matrix elements relevant to the SUSY K0−K0 mixing amplitude

چکیده
We compute the 1-loop chiral corrections to the bag parameters which are needed for the discussion of the SUSY K0−K0 mixing problem in both finite and infinite volume. We then show how the bag parameters can be combined among themselves and with some auxiliary quantities and thus sensibly reduce the systematic errors due to chiral extrapolations as well as those due to finite volume artefacts that are present in the results obtained from lattice QCD. We also show that in some cases these advantages remain as such even after including the 2-loop chiral corrections. Similar discussion is also made for the K → π electro-weak penguin operators.

Hadronic Matrix Elements for Kaons 1
We review some work done by us calculating matrix elements for Kaons. Emphasis is put on the matrix elements which are relevant to predict nonleptonic Kaon CP violating observables. In particular, we recall our results for the B̂K parameter which governs the K0 − K0 mixing and update our results for εK including estimated all-higher-order CHPT corrections and the new results from recent analytic...
متن کاملLight Hadron Weak Matrix Elements
Weak processes involving light hadrons in general, and kaons in particular, have contributed significantly to our understanding of fundamental interactions over the years. Most recently, the measurement of a non-vanishing Re ǫ/ǫ in K → ππ decays by KTeV [1] and NA48 [2] has provided unambiguous evidence for direct CP violation. In constraining the Standard Model (SM), the physics of kaons is co...
متن کاملConstraints on Supersymmetric Flavor Changing Parameters Using B → PP Decays
We study contributions of quark-squark-gluino interactions in Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model (MSSM) to B → PP (PP = Kπ, ππ,KK) decays using QCD improved factorization method for the evaluation of the hadronic matrix elements and taking into account renormalization group running of the Wilson coefficients from SUSY scale (≈ mq̃) to the low energy scale (= mb) applicable to B decays. Using ...
متن کاملLattice results relevant to the CKM matrix determination
The most popular way to estimate the amount of CP-violation in the Standard Model is to study the shape of the CKM unitarity triangle involving the third generation of quark flavors. The standard unitarity triangle analysis (UTA) [1], which requires the least theoretical assumption, comprises the K −K0 and B d −B 0 d mixing amplitudes, as well as the SU(3) breaking ratio in the B0−B0 system. Ad...
متن کاملQuark Mixing and CP Violation
We review the historical developments leading to the CabibboKobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) quark mixing matrix. Present status of the CKM matrix from direct measurements is summarized, giving also the present profile of the unitarity triangle. CP Violation in the K0 K0 complex and in B-meson decays are discussed in the context of
